Diablo 2 Resurrected has been released two months. The much-anticipated update is finally here. According to the latest news, patch 2.3 will come up in early December. This update will include bug fixes, improvements and new features. Here are the details.

New features

1. Offline Difficulty Scaling

This feature will come to console platforms. Solo offline players can adjust the difficulty of game and reward - up to eight players’ difficulty. This feature is very easy to set up. Players only need to open the setting menu, click game setting, offline and drag the ‘Offline Difficulty Scaling’ slider.

2. Quick Cast Skills and Binding Active Skill

On the controller, players can quickly switch immediately between 12 buttons. Diablo 2 Resurrected PC players also would like the same feature. Blizzard has taken the players’ advice. Keyboard and mouse players will soon be able to use the Active Skill Bindings bar, and they can set up to 16 skills to this bar and use them directly by Quick Cast. Players can bind skills based on their experience.

Improvements

1. UI Visual Improvements

☆ An indicator will be added to exemplify players that are muted or ignored.
☆ Character levels and extension types will be displayed on the lobby screen.
☆ Players can see the real identity information of Battle.net real ID friends on the friends' list.

2. Gameplay Improvements

☆ The “miss” text indicator will be added to Players combat.
☆ ‘Throw’ can be tied to a key, even if the player doesn’t have anything to throw.
☆ A new key binding called “Force Move” will be added.

3. Audio Improvements

☆ When players browse options menu items, they can hear Audio signals. It works for all platforms.
☆ Players can also hear audio prompts when filling their character's belt automatically with potions.

4. Graphical Improvements

☆ Some players using Nvidia graphic cards compatible with Nvidia DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) technology on PC can use DLSS in the graphics setting menu.

The Public Test Realm (PTR)

In the coming weeks, Diablo 2 Resurrected will launch a Public Test Realm (PTR). PTR is mainly used for fixing database issues and stabilizing our online environment. All players and developers can use it to test balance, fix bugs and for other improvements. Once Blizzard determines these fixes are performing well, then they will share more information on D2R new changes and the details of Ladder rank play.
