The Duskbloods appears to be building its entire identity around what many consider the least polished aspect of Souls games. The trailer shows:

Mandatory PvP encounters with environmental threats
No confirmation of any substantial single-player content

FromSoftware's genius has always been in crafting methodical, atmospheric single-player experiences where every enemy encounter feels carefully choreographed.
