ESO Build: Stamina Templar DPS for PvE – Lost Depths

With the release of the ESO: Update 35 and Lost Depths DLC, Stamina Templar became stronger. Whether you want to complete PvE content with Trial gear or not, or even if your are a beginner to The Elder Scrolls Online, you will find a powerful setup for your character from ArzyeL Gaming's build guide.

Attribute Points: 64 Points to Stamina

Mundus Stone: The Thief

Food: Artaeum Takeaway Broth

Potion: Essence of Weapon Power

Race: Dark Elf/Orc/Khajiit 

Any Race with Stamina bonuses will work well.

Maximum Magicka: 15007

Magicka Recovery: 628

Maximum Health: 22137

Health Recovery: 1225

Maximum Stamina: 32047

Stamina Recovery: 1168

Spell Damage: 4015

Spell Critical: 42.3%

Spell Penetration: 1639

Weapon Damage: 4662

Weapon Critical: 42.3%

Physical Penetration: 1639

Spell Resistance: 12643

Physical Resistance: 11917

Critical Resistance: 1320

Dedicated Group Setup

The dedicated group setup uses Trial gear for the highest possible damage. You can also use Berserking Warrior, Kinras's Wrath, Deadly Strike, or Coral Riptide (Perfected) as alternative sets.

No-Trial Gear Setup

Deadly Strike is another good alternative for Templar, especially if you plan to use Biting Jabs as your spammable.

Beginner Gear Setup

Skill Setup

Front Bar

Deadly Cloak is one of the best skills for Stamina classes. It gives Major Evasion, which reduces damage from area attacks by 20%.

Rapid Strikes is your spammable skill. 

Power of the Light is a great single target damage skill. 

Barbed Trap deals DoT damage and gives you Minor Force, increasing your Critical Damage by 10%.

Blazing Spear deals AoE damage. You can also replace this skill with Razor Caltrops for solo gameplay.

Flawless Dawnbreaker gives you an additional 300 Weapon Damage for 20 seconds while debuffing the enemies with a 6-second DoT.

Back Bar

Stampede is a very powerful AoE ability.

Carve is a strong single-target and AoE bleed ability. You also gain a damage shield from the skill.

Ritual of Retribution will constantly be dealing AoE damage to enemies. 

Resolving Vigor is your healing skill.

Repentance gives Health and Stamina back to you and your teammates.

Empowering Sweep is your primary Ultimate skill.

If you want to use a Bow on your back-bar, you can replace Stampede and Carve with Endless Hail and Poison Injection.

Switch Bars

Blazing Spear → Power of the Light → Deadly Cloak → Rapic Strikes×5-6 → Barbed Trap

Stampede → Carve → Ritual of Retribution 

Switch Bars and continue. Keep attacking with Rapid Strikes and re-cast the other skills when necessary. 

You will want to use Repentance to restore Stamina and Resolving Vigor to heal yourself. Make sure you use Empowering Sweep when ready and always light attack before every skill to boost damage.
