Gems

Armour:

Lacerate – Brutality – Multistrike – Pulverise – Melee Physical Damage – Close Combat

- Start forming a 4L with Brutality – Multistrike – Pulverise.

- When you get a 5 or 6L body armour, you can also add Melee Physical Damage and Close Combat.

Helmet:

Vaal Ancestral Warchief – Ancestral Protector – Multiple Totems – Maim

- Ancestral Warchief and Ancestral Protector grant attack damage and attack speed buff. And thanks to Multiple Totems, you can have the two buffs at the same time.

Gloves:

Steelskin – Vaal Haste – Summon Ice Golem – Increased Duration

- Steelskin gives you a shield that absorbs damage.

This build has an easy leveling process. It is beginner-friendly.

Tips

- From level 1 to 18, use Frost Blades.

- Then, you can already use Lacerate.

Leveling setup of links:

- When you create your duelist, you will have to use Double Strike until you reach the first town. There you can talk to Tarleigh, then buy Frost Blades from Nessa. Keep Frost Blades supported with Ruthless.

- Reaching level 8, you can also support your Frost Blades with Added Cold Damage.

- Reaching level 18, activate Herald of Purity and Summon Skitterbots for more damage.

- Reaching level 18, you can replace Frost Blades with Lacerate. Support it with Melee Splash, Ancestral Call, and Melee Physical Damage.

- Reaching level 31, replace Maim with Pulverise.

- Reaching level 38, replace Faster Attacks with Multistrike.

- When you have a 6L body armour, you can use the complete Lacerate setup.

- If you equip an Innsbury Edge at level 47, drop Brutality for a while.

- Equip Brutality again when you equip your Ichimonji.

- Also, on level 38, add Blood and Sand and Dread Banner to your auras.

- Reaching level 70, you can replace Skitterbots with Pride and Precision.

- You need to have reached "Champion of the Cause" on your tree to do so.
